Did you tighten both piercing screws? There's one inside the grip, as well as the one on the bottom of the grip. If so, make sure the one in the grip is fairly tight but doesn't pierce.

Use a drop of Pellgun oil to make a better seal.

I recently purchased a Beretta Elite II CO2 pistol, and I am VERY happy with it's accuracy and POWER. It will shoot right through one side of a heavy steel vegetable can at 25 feet. The only complaint I have is that a bb can get trapped in the magazine guide making it impossible to insert the magazine, and VERY difficult to remove the magazine until you realize you have as stuck bb. Otherwise, it is a GREAT pistol and just reeks of Beretta high quality, and is very good value for the reasonable price.
