First off you need to find out what year your Walther PPK is. Verify if your PPK has a pin in it as shown on the picture above. Its just above the trigger guard. If you don’t, skip part 1 and move on to part 2. If you do, continue reading.
As of January 2005, Umarex started putting pins that go across the trigger guard thus preventing you from easily disassembling the air pistol. This was done because thousands of these were, and currently are sold at Walmart. Inexperienced customers would take their PPK’s apart and could not put them together. So lots of returns were made of perfectly fine guns. Well, you can still take the gun a part but you would first have to push the pin out of the trigger guard. You cannot do it with bare hands, you need a tool. Removal of the pin will void the warranty.
