The Umarex Makarov CO2 BB pistol, is a faithful reproduction of the classic Russian Makarov. Constructed of nearly all metal parts, movable slide, and the ability to disassemble it for cleaning really adds to the realism of this gun.
The Makarov can be fired either single action or in double action mode, but both are about the same when it comes to trigger weight.
The movable slide is only used to cock the pistol and does not have blow back action, but the hammer does move when fired.

The Umarex SA 177 is one of the latest Co2 powered BB guns released by Umarex. It is styled after the Glock 17 and features a metal blow back slide and polymer frame.
Despite having blow back , the SA 177 is in fact double action. The blow back is only cosmetic and does not cock the hammer like a Walther CP99 Compact. The blow back does however, give a nice little kick which makes it feel more like the real thing. Another nice feature is the slide locks back when the last BB is fired.
